A new look and a new recipe – the Swiss-German niche beauty brand puts new deo cremes in new jars.

The revamped formula is as silky as ever, only Ponyhütchen claim that it doesn’t melt in the summer. This is a win, given that all my ponyhütchens used to become a runny mess come April.

Fine deodorant in a limited edition
and 100% plastic-free packaging

This aluminium-free and fully edible natural deodorant has an Italian name and comes from Berlin.

Usually Fine is dressed in a glass jar or in a tube, but the new limited edition Foxycheeks Stick Minty Something comes in a cardboard packaging.

It also smells heavently of freshly picked mint leaves (party people: think Mojito) and melts just as much as needed for application. Go get yours before they’re all gone!

Und Gretel:
⭐ Glammy Award ⭐ and brand new Brow Bow Gel

Congratulations Und Gretel on winning the well-deserved German Glammy Award!

And the next Und Gretel product launch is around the corner: hitting the shelves next month (Mid-March) is the fantastic Brow Bow Gel FROH.

“Froh” is German for “merry, cheerful”, and as founder and make-up artist by trade Christina explained to me during a quick chat in the Und Gretel Berlin office, she thought of this name because brows give away our mood. FROH comes with a petite brush small enough for those overplucked arches, and the gel has a beautiful neutral brown colour with a silky shimmer finish.

With FROH and SPRUSSE, Und Gretel will have two brow definition products.

Lovely Day:
Limited Edition Body Oils

Jade, Emerald and Amber Glow – this limited edition trio of body elixirs has just landed in the Lovely Day online and physical stores.

JADE Mind Calming Body Elixir, AMBER GLOW Beautifying Body Elixir and EMERALD Vitalizing Body Elixir are naturally (and wonderfully) scented blends of precious oils based on almond oil, a trusted skin-loving ingredient.
Samples retail at €3, full-size elixirs at €39-45.

Santaverde Pure
For inflammation-prone skin

Launching in April 2018, the new Santaverde series aptly named ‘pure’ offers a skin-balancing and gently nourishing and protective solution for irritated/ acneic skin.

All products are vegan and certified with Natrue – can’t wait to have a closer look at the upcoming VIVANESS fair for natural cosmetics.

Dr Hauschka
Limited Edition Purple Light

Just in: the new Dr Hauschka limited edition products have hit the shelves on February 1st.

The packaging is based on the artwork of the Swedish artist Emma Lindström who also models both Purple Light beauty looks. The limited collection – very much in tune with Pantone’s Color of the year, the “dramatically provocative and thoughtful” PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet – includes an eye shadow quartet, an eye pencil, a very shimmery multi-colour powder compact and two liquid lip colours, a warm glossy red and a more neutral glossy beige.

While I’m dramatically thoughtful indeed about an unexpected emotional depth attributed to a colour by the Pantone Institute, I love all shades of a saturated violet-eggplant-plum (btw: universally flattering no matter your eye colour).

Kjaer Weis pressed powder:
talcum-free powerhouse

Fans of the luxurious beauty brand, hold your breath.

Drop-dead gorgeous as always, the new, active ingredient infused and super finely milled powder by Kjaer Weis (€52; refill €32) is launched together with a luxuriant powder brush (€41).

The heavy lid reveals the powder upon one elegant swing of the heavy lid; and a small puncture in the bottom allows to safely and easily push out the empty pan when refilling.
The powder contains natural UV protectants ferulic acid and allantoin, vitamins A and E.
