Minimalistic, Green, Unisex: Santaverde 2017 New & Limited Edition Launches

Certified natural, cruelty-free and vegan, SANTAVERDE once again delivered (ethical and) product excellence with their 2017 new launches that include one fabbo limited edition.

I love skincare products with a minimalistic and/or unisex appeal – my green skincare world dominance plan being simple: make my green faves easy to discover for my significant other, and let him spread the word to all his friends.

Today, reviewing Santaverde 2017 new launches, I’ll stand by my earlier claim from the Santaverde range review that:

Santaverde gel formulas are perfection, the best gel formulas I’ve ever tried – absolutely non-sticky, not-drying and very refreshing.”

Yassss. But let’s have a closer look.

aloe vera body serum
Limited Edition – Review

This citrus-scented limited edition treasure was presented during this year’s Vivaness and is basically a holistic cocktail of herbal goodness.Hydrating and soothing thanks to the pure aloe leaf juice, the serum is infused with Centella/ Tiger grass, Ivy, Butcher’s-Broom and Green tea extract for a tightening and firming effect. I’ve been using the serum for some 1.5 weeks now, and I appreciate how it feels and most importantly, how it makes skin feel. I’ll repeat myself here, but the light gel texture dries quickly to an imperceivably non-sticky finish. I haven’t seen skincare actually drain and firm skin or tissue long-term just by the means of its formulation; I figure you need some kind of massage or exercise (not to mention a dietary change) to support any transformation. What the aloe very body serum LE does – it feels great and leaves skin hydrated with a powdery-soft finish; has the most invigorating and sweet citrusy smell; allows for a quick massage or even drainage. While I don’t have any body zones that need particular drainage, I really like the serum as an overall body product for springtime. It doesn’t hurt that the sweet citrusy fragrance lingers close to the skin, never overpowering yet as delicious as lemon meringue pie.

A little drop of its gel-like texture goes a long way, too: Santaverde products do apply very sparingly.I also get the feeling that the new aloe vera body serum LE is a more versatile alternative to the regular aloe vera body firming gel (blurry on the left in the image above) that I also have, even though the formulations are completely different. While the firming gel is super nice to pop in the fridge to cool your legs in summer, the new body serum is more versatile and mildly refreshing as is, without any cooling.

aloe vera hydrating gel
fragrance free – Review

One of my favourite summer skincare products now has a fragrance-free friend! Finally! *happy dance*Whether your skin is oily or dry, the heavenly light formula of aloe vera hydrating gel fragrance free is not a Santaverde bestseller for nothing. Based on pure aloe vera juice and infused with elderflower extract, evening primrose oil, and mango butter, it’s hydration and nourishing bliss packaged in a gel texture. In fact, just writing down the herbal ingredients makes me want to pour this thing into my lunch smoothie! Seriously though, aloe vera hydrating gel fragrance free is of course a logical addition to the regular Santaverde range, where many products are available both with or without the signature scent.

aloe vera hydrating gel ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Alcohol*, Sodium Lactate, Oenothera Biennis Oil*, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil*, Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract*, Lavandula Angustifolia Flower Extract*, Betaine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Mangifera Indica Seed Butter, Chondrus Crispus Powder, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil*, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Sodium Phytate, Glucose, Glyceryl Caprylate, Levulinic Acid, Glycerin, Sodium Levulinate.
