BEAUTYCALYPSE friends shared their wisdom: for a motivated, powerful, positive start into a better, happier new year.
If you have been around since summer, you might have seen/read a mini series of inspiring interviews with artistic and (or) enterpreneurial women dabbed MOTIVATION MONDAY.
The name “Motivation Monday” itself comes from my obsession with Twitter. On Twitter, it is quite a rite to bemoan Mondays. Having launched the hashtag #MotivationMonday I remind my friends that Mondays make for one seventh part of our lives. What a shame to hate them, right?
So it’s always better to question the symptom (“I hate Mondays” – why is it so?) and to cheer ourselves up with motivating, fascinating and otherwise brilliant encounters.
And so I invite you today to the LAST MOTIVATION MONDAY in 2013. I asked ladies who you’ve met here already for their statements to enlighten, to motivate, to inspire… I’m happy that most of them found time in their busy schedules to send me their valuable thoughts that I then turned into images.
Now, here’s the loot without further ado!

So precious. Glad to have had a moment to go thru in detail. Amazing women.
I LOVE this post!! Did you do all the artwork yourself chica? If so, you’re SO talented!! Some really great quotes too. My hubby is one of those Monday haters, so I’m gonna share these with him. I’ve been on vacation for the past two weeks so I haven’t been online much lately, but I’ll check in with ya when I get back home. Happy New Year! Celeste 🙂
you’re too kind 😉
chat soon!
This is such a wonderful and inspiring post. Again, amazing pages and writers to learn from and read more often.
Wish you a fabulous year and all the best for your blog!
By the way:
You set up my goal for this year. I planned accidentally a triathlon at Fuerteventura, one of the toughest in Europe due to the mountains you have to hit with the bike and the hilly running course. I was afraid after registration that this is a bit to much for me, I have to make it now. Thanks for the amazing picture. I have to share it tomorrow morning for motivation with my Facebook followers!
PS.
Even the handwriting could be mine 😀
happy you liked and thank you for being part of it! this post sure was a great end-of-year-transitions-into- new-year kind of project.
and the triathlon sounds wicked!!!!

Thank you so much for including me in this and I am sorry for the delayed in commenting but I have been away for a short break. I wish you a very Happy New Year. 😉
I know, and I hope it’s been a very pleasant one. Happy New Year! 😉
Strolling in on a Tuesday to discover this… Thank you! And what good company – I see many more places I will have to visit today. May your 2014 be a wonder. xox, V
Thank you, V.! x
Oh, one way to change your ideas about Monday is to live, like I did for several years, in Cairo, where the week begins on Sunday. So Monday-itis becomes irrelevant. 😀 It really works because Sunday, somehow, doesn’t ever feel like Monday!
Monday-itis 😀
Sundays are my least favourite weekdays, but I make the most of them 😉
Me too. And we can always think of the days of the week like this; just eliminate the world child and there is a feeling/attitude for every day
Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace,
Wednesday’s child is full of woe,
Thursday’s child has far to go,
Friday’s child is loving and giving,
Saturday’s child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.[1]
I’m a Tuesday’s child by the way 😉
And “Wednesday’s Child” is a beautiful song by David Bowie.
Incredible! I am Tuesday’s child too!
woohoo! 🙂 when’s your b’day? wasn’t it in spring?
Yes, March (which is our spring)
it’s spring here as well 😉 just with snow lately #GlobalWarming
Oh gosh, I shouldn’t make comments late at night. March is autumn here. Where is my brain?!
hee hee 🙂
yet march is really “white christmas” over here lately. calendar-wise it’s spring, weather-wise it’s winter. this was no joke
Just stunning. Thank you for including me in such a wonderful tradition.
thank you for your statement 😉
Ahh – great quotes from all and thanks to Miss B for making them look so inviting – Happy New Year!
